Our four-wheelers have typically served as my wife’s daily drivers. I like to clean them as soon as possible, usually within a day or two.

However, my wife manages a senior living facility, and the residents notice everything about the vehicle. They go outside to read the stickers, look for anything new—whether it’s something funny or a place we’ve visited—and they especially enjoy seeing it come back filthy because of the stories it seems to tell.

As a result, when we return from a trip on a Saturday or Sunday, I may have to wait until the following weekend before I get the okay to clean it.
