Just installed Dobinson (C59-822) front coil springs which essentially gave me a 2” lift. Just wanted to know if anyone else has done a dif drop and or upper control arms for a 2” lift or if it’s needed / necessary? I know some of the spacer lift kits go 2 1/4” or even 2 1/2” so I didn’t know if I should be concerned with doing anything additional. I’ve read that anything under 3” of lift doesn’t require any additional work but just trying to cover all the bases. I know everyone has opinions but I’m hoping for real life experience results. Thanks in advance

Yes, hopefully.
I asked my Toyota service advisor, who has become very helpful over twenty or more years that I’ve known him. He said that he wouldn’t do either. I am going to stick with that for now. Been running the above mentioned springs on stock suspension for several weeks now plus I added some 35” tires and so far no issues whatsoever. No noise, no rubbing etc. I guess unless someone who has experience with a similar situation convinces me otherwise I will drive on and if something happens or goes wrong then I will cross that bridge when I get to it. Best of luck with yours. Idk if you have already installed something similar or not but the ones I installed are working great and the truck seems to ride slightly better. Not a huge difference but I can tell it’s different.

Thanks for the input. I’m shopping around still for the best shocks for a plush ride without going to kings. I would be willing to hang my hat that the foxes are a good middle ground.
