Does the OR MTS selector switch work on a Tacoma Sport (doesnt have MTS)

I was disappointed to find out the 2025 Sport premium I bought didn't come with Multi Terrain Select (MTS). After researching it I decided to buy a OR selector switch hoping it would work with just putting the switch in the system and the software would work. I plugged it into the system and guess what, it worked (at least all the lights are working). Still not sure if it is actually working? Seems I can't find at least 12" of snow to try it in. It's only May in Chicago and there's still time LOL. Of course the DAC doesn't work, I believe that would require changing the computer (maybe I could make the MTM work that way, just a thought). The part seems to be easily found on the internet thru Ebay. Happy Cinco de Mayo (Taco Day).
