I picked up a 2024 Tacoma SR5 double cab long bed a few days ago. Just has heated seats and bed rails (no upgrade package or anything)

Weighed in at 4760 with (almost) full tank and 210lb passenger.

Curb weight: About 4550

GVWR: 6005

Payload: About 1445

When you say 210lb passenger, is that in addition to the driver or weight of the only occupant? Thank you for posting real numbers

I'm confused at how the above two Tacomas can have the same payload. Both are long bed crew cabs. One is a nearly base OR and one is a hybrid TH. I'd think the OR would have at least a couple hundred lbs more payload than the TH, but it actually has less. Can anybody help me understand how this can be?
