Easy 20 minute installation of tailgate protective cover from Amazon

Fairly often, I have to carry stuff with the tailgate open and in order to protect it I roll the dice and got this tailgate protective cover from Amazon. On sale I think it was around $35 or so. Looks nice, any obstruction when closing tailgate, i was looking at a rubber one like the OEM bedmat

I have the OEM bed mat and it doesn't interfere with it. In one of the pics you can actually see the mat off to the left.

I actually ordered one from Mountain Hatch... It does take a few months to manufacture and deliver, and I still do not have mine yet (ordered 11/01/24). I'll post a photo once delivered and installed. Just an option.

Just received mine, pretty basic install I assume since there were no instructions... Does the adhesive around the mat seem strong for long-term wear?
