Greetings, just picked up my new Ice Cap TRD Off-road with Manual transmission last night. I traded in my beloved Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition diesel for a Manual Tacoma.
First mod was to remove the TRD Pro shift know and replace with a generic black ball. Also adjusted the shift boot to expose the shift rod.
Coming from the Colorado I have to say there is way more tech is this truck than my previous. But I absolutely love the MT. It has been too many years with an auto. I will probably miss the fuel mileage and range. But otherwise this truck is very similar driving characteristics and feels pretty at home on the road.
