Front Timing Cover Leaking

So, I decided to buy a TRD skid plate for my truck. While I was installing it, I came across something strange. Behind the oil cooler, where the oil filter is attached, I discovered some oil droplets. I made an appointment at the dealer for them to diagnose the oil leak. Turns out it is the front timing cover that is leaking. I had the oil changed about 2 weeks ago. At some point since then it started to leak. I have around 9k miles on my truck.

Yes, its fixed. They had to take it apart and reseal it. Apparently, there are two covers. It was leaking around the front cover. Didn't have to replace the coolant but did get an oil change.
As far as the dealer experience, it was good. They gave me a Tundra to drive for the week.

Glad they got you sorted. Also happy to see the motor still in the truck. The list of parts they ordered for mine made me nervous they were trying to pull the motor to do it. Must just be for access purposes they're removing the intake/exhaust Manis. Pretty bummed it's a thing but nice to know I'm not alone haha
