Ordered these, took about 10 days to get to me and they fit/ work fine. Not sure if the longevity, so I ordered two. Getting in the panel is a bit annoying, but not too horrible. Getting the blanks out on the other hand, without just smashing them... You have to push both the sides in at the same time.

I saw this thread and checked it out. Picked up a USB and blank switch for $20. If you comb through all the sellers you can save a few bucks as everyone is selling at different prices.

Bumping an old thread I know…. But I tried to do exactly this setup, and when I press the flux capacitor button, nothing happens.
the remote still works by itself, but not as intended with the dash switch…

My soldering is perhaps not super clean, so maybe I’ll try again on the second remote I got in the 2-pack. Could be the connection isn’t that great.

I also considered wiring into my Auxbeam switch, but would like to do this as first choice…

I know this is an old post, but I just purchased a 2025 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and ran across this.

I see how to wire the switch to the garage door opener, but does anyone have wiring instructions for the switch illumination?

For reference, I purchased the switch from Aliexpress that was shared in an earlier post.
