Hey there. Thanks for your review on these tires. I'm considering getting them for new method 17s on my 24' Land Cruiser for overloading type off-roading. I do have a question for you in regards to your trade in. Were the trade in tires brand new/unused and was it a big chain tire shop or mom and pop shop? I have factory 20s with under 1000 miles on them and would love to get a little something for them from the tire shop trade in wise and would love to know about how you pulled your trade in off. Thanks and take it easy.
It was a mom & pop that ive done business with for years. The factory yota tires had 3100 miles and were wearing QUICK. I usually traded outvmy 20" Duratrac off the F350 with good tread for $400 trade off new ones at this shop. Full set of tires they can sell for 70% new they should give you 40% of new price on that tire model

Thanks so much. Really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Your tacoma looks great with those wheels and tires.

Bumping back up. I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on these but it seems there is a Tread A and Tread B version. Do you know which you have? The ones I’m seeing from Tire Rack and Discount Tire are showing 51lbs vs the owner weight you mentioned.

Anyway… still happy with them?

Just stumbled on this thread. I had a local goodyear shop order the Toyo OC AT3 EV tires 275/70r/18 for my new 18” methods (18 offset). If they don’t fit, or fit under compression, I’ll see if they have the one’s you went with here. I appreciate your review, since without It, I wouldn’t have known that they are an option. The Toyo’s are costing me 1550 installed.

I too looked at the same Toyo at3 EV tire. Supposedly it is heavier to support EVs, not sure though. Curious to hear what you think.

These are whst i have, not sure on the tread pattern A/B. We weighed them and they were 43lbs. This was on a Amazon special digital bathroom scale not a certified device by any means.

I'm still happy with them. If I get 35k out of them and they still have even tread left ill buy again. I dont run the last 10-20k miles of a tires life either. I usually sell them with life left and buy a new set. Id run Duratracs at 40-50k before replacing buy they are 2k a set of 4 as well, at least on an F350

I’m being realistic that I commute my taco 99.5% and .5% will be fire roads with no rock crawling, so I’m going with a road/gas mileage bias on this.

Yep, found that on simple tire and Discount Tire. They’re not on sale anymore, but still a lot cheaper than the Toyo AT3. Crazy that they list them as having a weight of 51lbs vs what you actually weighed them to be. 👍

$200 each at Walmart online, im sure you could find a shop.to install for 850ish. .02 a mile even if you only get 35k miles out of them which i think is very unlikely as mine are wearing very good. I was running 80mph plus or on chip seal or gravel roads the 8k miles I have on mine snd they look great.
