Hey all, I’m new to posting here. Just wanted to share my new Greenlane aluminum rock sliders on my 25’ Tacoma TRD Off-Road.

Took about 3 weeks to get them, great packaging, amazing powder coat finish, perfect/easy install. 10/10 would recommend.

These are the non-kick out version with the 12.5 degree angle and the top plates.

I’m a street use guy with the occasional very tame off road use so I can’t really speak to the durability for hardcore rock crawling. I have read that they hold up well though.

I put the same pair on my truck, and I messaged them and asked them to thank their fabricators, absolutely perfect fit, and notches for the frame grounds built in, couldn’t be happier with the product, oh and made in Canada 😎

@SnowmanJPS Great looking truck! Yes, the attention to detail in their sliders is incredible. Great craftsmanship. I noticed that they even have some holes and notches that weren't applicable to my truck specifically. I imagine this is for slight differences in the different models.

@Rsuperman I paid right at about $1100 for them exactly like this. I didn't weight them but I would estimate between 30lbs-40lbs each.

Do these, angled and straight, also work as step / assist for shorter persons to get up into the truck? I'd rather not get a "running board" type but my wife has a bit of trouble climbing into the TRD Pro.

I have the greenlane with the kick out.. I don’t use them for steps (I don’t need steps to get in) but they work great for body protection and to stand on to wash the roof of the truck.. definitely well made

I have the straight with kick out. I got them primarily for door protection and my short wife. She had a hard time getting into the truck but now she uses the sliders as a step. She loves them. They put you above the truck when using them as a step but perfect for what I needed. Fantastic quality and lead time was accurate. Arrived very secure. 10/10 would recommend. I have done 0 rock crawling but for my needs they’re great.

the one I have can be used as steps, its harder on the knees than a regular step but it works

@Billy K I’m 5’6 and I can attest that yes, the angled ones on my truck do in fact still work for me as a running board.

@Billy K they’re not low like traditional style steps but definitely lower than the door frame.
