Labor Day weekend is almost here, which usually means one thing: more miles, more gear, and probably a little dirt somewhere along the way.

Before heading out, I’m doing the usual quick check:

• Fluids and basic tools
• Recovery gear
• Tie-down straps
• Cooler and water
• Cargo setup
• Route and weather check

Nothing complicated, just the stuff that makes a long weekend a lot more enjoyable once you’re away from home.
