I was offered a Michelin Bed Mat at no cost in exchange for an honest review of the product.

The bed mat was shipped double boxed in a folded configuration. It included instructions, which I'm sure we're all aware of by now, to leave it unfolded in direct sunlight to flatten the mat.
I tossed it on top of my bed cover for a couple of hours in the sunlight but I did not wait the recommended time. It mostly flattened out aside from 2 smalls spots that I can hit with a little heat to flatten out, I'm sure. I have no doubt it would've flattened all the way if I weren't impatient.
I have no first-hand experience with other bed mats, however, I have seen some of my friends. Mostly, what I have seen has been thick rubber mats. This mat is more akin to the material that all weather floor liners are made from, although slightly more heavy duty.
It has a nice grippy texture and a couple of ridges to help prevent things from sliding around too much. Overall, I am happy with the quality of the material.
I had a 2 hour drive to the ranch with a few items in the bed as soon as I installed the new mat. Things stayed mostly in place during the drive.
The fit is very good with my bare composite bed.
I had drilled out some holes for the anchor points, although I will most likely go back and cut out the spaces entirely for better articulation.
Overall, I like the mat. Had I spent my own $120ish on it, I would be satisfied.
