My thoughts on 14" Display - Improvement Request

I am very frustrated with the current default layout for music on the 14" display. Toyota gives you the ability to add favorite channels which is great. I can add Sirius stations, FM and organize those in my favorites. FYI, you can click edit at the top of your favorites, click and hold on the 3 lines to left of your channel, and move the channel order as required.

My frustration is that on each start, the music screen shows available channels on the left panel with your favorites on the right panel. Since I already added my favorites, why do I want to see a panel that lists all the possible channels that are available? (AM, FM, SXM..) I have to click on one of my favorites on the right panel to get my favorites on the left panel.

Once the favorites are on the left panel, you can see what song is playing on each channel(on the left panel) and the song information on the right panel. This should be the default when the music app is selected on the display. Wondering if anyone else is frustrated with the requirement to click on your favorite to change the display every time you start your truck? TBH, it drives me nuts .

Another ask would be for the option to split the screen with MAP & Sirius. You can only do this in Apple Car play and if you are listening to Sirius from your phone. If you have a Sirius Subscription in your truck, you cannot get a view of a map and Sirius\Music at the same time. Let me know your thoughts.

I agree with all your thoughts. I would also like the ability to change the font size. I'm an old guy but the font is so very big, a smaller font would make it easier to see all the favorite stations at once.

Yeah, totally agree about the font size. It's absurd to have this MASSIVE screen, but the text / resolution is so big that it functions like a little gameboy screen. For instance, a song title will never fully be displayed because the system doesn't have room to display it all. Meanwhile, 95% of the screen real estate is completely wasted.

There are so many things I hate about this truck, and they're all to do with the infotainment / carplay.

Other gripes are the complete lack of options and customizability in general, abbreviating everything in the Safety 3.0 system in the gauge cluster, carplay auto switching source / cutting radio when I open facebook or twitter.
