2025 TRDOR hybrid...I noticed clunking sounds from the driveline when pulling away from a stop. I wondered what was going on to cause this noise, then I watched a Car Care Nut video about driving modes (ECO/NORMAL/SPORT) and what happened when you selected each. ECO stretches the shifts out to make starts from a stop appear more gradual, thus smooth. What it also does is give the driveline more time to churn while it's going from electric to gas. I switched to NORMAL and the drive is much smoother. I'm on paved roads all the time and drive the speed limit so most of the "features" on this truck go unused...I don't mind the unused part but if they made the truck less fun to drive then we have a problem.
