Have you all seen the videos of the small amp that connects right to the back of your stereo?
i purchased one for my 2024 Tacoma hybrid, followed the video, one thing is that my cables that came with the amp did not have the ground wir that attaches to the side of the stereo. Welll I blew a fuse . lost power to radio and truck would not start, windows were down. no power to windows.
had it towed to the Toyota dealership. 195 to find the problem, I contacted the amplifier manufacturer, they confirmed that my purchase is the correct one for my truck, no ground wire like in the video, it’s built into the harness now. Buttt. I’m afraid to try to install this again!!!,

It’s bad news. Request a refund and compensation for the damage caused by their defective product.

Thanks for that great advice. I have requested a return authorization and a refund, if they don’t , I will file a complaint with my card !!

Dont be scared. This time make sure you have the 28 pin connector in the left most port on the head unit as instructed in the pic below.

Did you buy a Beatsonic amp? We've sold over 50+ just on this forum with no issues! Might be an install error..

Thanks for your opinion, the directions were followed, even referencing the video, one exception is that the video showed a ground wire attaching to the side of the head unit. My harness did not have that wire. I’ve set up amplifiers for years. No stranger to all connections. But you can form any opinion you want . I’m staying away from that product and waiting for my refund.

Thanks everyone, I received a refund email today, maybe sometime in the future I’ll get another one but have it installed by the manufacturer here in Orange County.
