Prinsu is working on a half rack for the Gen4 Tacoma. I talked with them at Overland Expo and they told me it was in the works. I used a Prinsu under my Dirtbox. I did decide to modify it for better clearance.

Unfortunately we don't have plans to make a half rack at this time.

Bumping with the specs we get asked about most, since the original post skipped the numbers.

**Load** the rack itself tests past 1,000 lbs, but that's not the number that matters. Your Tacoma's roof is the limit, not the rack. Factory dynamic roof rating is around 165 lbs, so treat that as your ceiling while driving. Parked with a tent on it you've got far more headroom.

**Weight** — about 55 lbs for the Tacoma rack.

**Height** — adds roughly 5" over the roofline. Clears most garages.

**Sunroof** — fully compatible, opens and closes without interference. Crossbars will sit in your overhead view, though.

**Build** — 3/16" 5052 aluminum side plates, extruded aluminum crossbars with drop-in T-slots, steel mounting feet, black powder coat.

**Install** — 100% bolt-on to factory roof points. No drilling, no cutting. Grab a second person, it's awkward solo.
