Roof Rack (Ebay) thoughts?

The limited reviews on Amazon seem okay. It's $399 free Prime shipping there, without the jack lift plugs.

They advertise a lot of stuff here on the forum. Generic Chinese company, so take that for what it's worth.

A lot of people have been happy with their other products so far though.

I have this roof rack, albeit with a different brand name. It's definitely from the same factory.

Assembly was a breeze, installation was equally easy. It included plenty of T-anchors and these weird tie-down anchors you can screw onto the T-anchors, which was a nice touch.

It's definitely noisy, and that's been further exasperated by the Yakima rod holder I put up there. My truck sounds like a kid with gapped teeth trying to learn to whistle when I'm driving at highway speed now. I'd say 60% of the noise is generated by the rod holder, though. That said, the rack itself is definitely noisy. The question you need to ask yourself is "will the noise piss me off enough that I wish I'd have spent double on something more quiet."
