    You also have to make sure that you're parked at an exact 37° angle upward, facing 73° away from the midsummer blood moon while the truck has all seatbels buckled, the windows 54% rolled down (this is very important), and the tires at EXACTLY 29.3 PSI. Trackers like the one OP has is generally for inventory while on the lot, and like you said for financial reasons. They don't remove them from either laziness, ignorance, or just to have the ability to track it...
