3.2oz extra isn't going to hurt anything. Especially if you're not prefilling the filter. I've done & do both.

There are Auto Start/Stop eliminators that you can buy that are wired in to stop it from cutting off. Now sure how they interface with a hybrid though.

Are your lights set to "Door" on the center top controller?

Even then, there's a TSB/recall and if anything else did happen, even outside of warranty and you have the same issues codes it's still covered.

Seems like a couple of you need to have your codes pulled and reference the TSB for the transmission failures. Toyota will only replace the trans if you have those codes present. Edit to add- DO NOT LET THE DEALERSHIP CLEAR YOUR CODES
