Hello all, while I've chatted with a few folks with the 4G Taco Scout Yoho hardwall pairing through Scout Camper owners groups, I'm curious whether any have one and can provide further impressions. I'm running the TRD-OR 6ft box with upgraded suspension (Dobinsons IMS) and a slightly heavier Dobinsons Coil (and love the setup) but am looking at the YOHO for an extended trip starting in May 2027 (going Van would be an option and I'd prefer to stick with my truck) and would thus put on a set of airbags (also looking for recommendations though there seem to be only two options at this point - AirLIft or Firestone).
Lots of discussion on payload, conservative sticker markers of 1200lbs, versus real life and Toyota stated payload for this vehicle of 1600-1650lbs, but that aside (highly polarizing topic), I'm curious about folks' impressions of this setup. Overwhelmingly, i've heard good feedback in terms of handling and performance with a slight drop off in fuel economy (anticipated and less than with towing).
Realistically, the Yoho will run about 1200lbs dry.
