This is what they emailed me when I asked:

"You can torque those M10 bolts to 37ft-lbs and the 1/2" bolts to 55ft-lbs."
Did you have a hard time starting the m10 bolts by hand? Mine seem really tight almost like these bolts are not the correct size for the frame thread

Did anyone have trouble threading the m10 bolts? Mine seem like they’re the wrong size and I’m not trying to cross thread my frame threads

and what do you do about this plastic bracket? These guys need to seriously fix their instructions

Mine went it fine, they didnt thread " easy" I guess but I got them started. I used anti sieve and ran them in and back out with small impact. Not sure what plastic bracket you're referring too. I dont think I even looked at the instructions lol. The video on their website was more than sufficient

Yeah mines a long bed and they recently changed their design so there’s no updated instructions lol. Did yours have the L brackets?
