Tacoma Limited window sticker includes chrome finished alloy wheels, FALSE !

The Tacoma limited window sticker says it includes chrome finished alloy wheels, as does ALL their literature.
IN fact, it comes with PLASTIC wheel covers. They have no intention of making this right.
Maybe if we ALL open a complaint with Toyota Brand Engagement Center.?

They are "Chrome Clad" aluminum wheels. Standard with most manufacturers. Technically the description is accurate. Good luck with that!

chrome does not indicate metal, yeah. you can slap chrome on a tortilla and still call it chrome.

First thing I did was swap out wheels/tires. The originals dont even look like metal, just obvious chrome-coated plastic. Easily the least favorite part of my Limited. Why would Toyota put such garbage on a premium trim?

Lol ok ya got me. But you gotta admit they are good at it. Now, let's talk about why the 4th gen is the worst. Just kidding, I love mine.

Exactly what I was going to say. Just replacing the stock limited “chrome” wheels alone drastically tones the limited down. Of course once I did that, the rest of the chrome bits went not long after.
