A Tacoma bed can handle a lot of different jobs.

One weekend it's full of camping equipment, the next it's carrying tools, bikes, or supplies for a home project.

But getting the most out of that space often comes down to how you've set it up.

Some owners go with drawer systems or bed racks. Others keep things simple with tie-downs, cargo organizers, or a protective bed mat.

We're especially curious about the smaller additions that make loading, unloading, or organizing gear a little easier without taking up too much bed space.

We're TreadAuto, and we make Michelin vehicle protection products, including truck bed mats designed for specific vehicle applications.

For anyone looking into bed protection, here's our Tacoma bed mat collection.

We're interested in how other Tacoma owners approach their setups.

Do you prefer keeping your truck bed open and flexible, or have you built a more permanent storage system?

What's one simple addition that's made the biggest difference in how you use your bed?

For me it’s a net. Since I have a trail hunter, I don’t have the option of installing (without major modifications) a tonneau cover. I went with a stretchy net. This allows me to transport objects without the fear of wind catching them and lifting them out of the bed and onto traffic.
