Hey everyone,
In my constant search for the perfect wheel for me, I came across an old thread where @tacorancher posted real world photos of the SCS Blaze 10s on a Taco. Unfortunately for me, I do not have a trailhunter so I’d have to contend with the +20 offset with standard TRD Off Road fender flares as opposed to the wider Trailhunter/TRD Pro flares but at least I have an idea.
I want a white wheel for an old school look. Ideally I’d like to find a 5 star simple design but I have yet to find one that I like with specs I like for a price I’m willing to pay.
The SCS Blaze 10s are my second favorite. Unfortunately the Blaze10s are currently out of stock on white in the +20 format but they have matte black and other flavors in stock and I confirmed with SCS that they can be powder coated without issue as long as I’m cool with voiding my warranty. (Which I would be).
So using tacorachers pictures (I hope you don’t mind) I used my limited imaging altering abilities to come up with these. I know the picture has the lip looking glossy but I’d try to keep the lip the matte black that comes from SCS.
Original photos of tacoranchers truck is white body with bronze wheels.
First pass was just coloring the wheels the way I wanted to white truck with white/black wheels.
Second pass was changing the truck color to try and match mine (mudbath)
So…whatcha guys think?
