Trailhunter Bed Cargo Divider

Hey everyone — new here, longtime lurker. I picked up a Trailhunter about 3 months ago and have been loving it so far.


I was looking at getting the Toyota bed cargo divider and found one on sale for around $250, so I figured I’d grab it. I’m planning to mount it between the sport bar, but I’m not sure if that setup will work.


I know I’d have to remove the bars to install it — just wondering if anyone has tried this or knows if it’ll fit with them back on?

It will fit. Here’s a pic showing that the bed divider fits between the wheel wells. Makes a nice gate for firewood. On the front of the panel, I’ve been strapping down camping gear and water jugs.

My ARB rack is waiting for me to modify it so it will fit on the T-slot rails of my tonneau cover. I know the bed divider will fit in the narrow area between your ARB rack’s bottom of triangle.

Pro tip: I’m able to remove my bed divider without removing my tonneau cover, which is installed in the truck’s bed rails. I have to loosen all four bolts of the bed divider and finagle an angle that will let me lift up one side and then the other. It’s helpful to have a second person on the other side of the truck while I am inside the truck doing the finagling.

There might not be enough of an angle available within the triangle under the ARB rack, but it is possible that would work too.

That’s quite a deal you got on that bed divider. I think plenty of people sell them because they have not realized that they do have some flexibility to use it once they put a tonneau cover on that mounts in the rails. Had I known that I would’ve bought a used one too. I got mine at 25% off during a sale.
