I found a great deal on the TRD center pipe (PT226-35240) + axle back portion (PT226-35241-02) and went in on it with another 4G member so he could get the center pipe and I could get this.
Install is a obviously a breeze: Unbolt 2 bolts, release the hangars, jack up the rear, twist the old pipe out without getting under the truck, put the new pipe in the same way, lower the truck, put the new pipe on the hangers, put the two bolts back on, tighten. 10 min job.
Been considering this for a while and all I can say is, I should have done it sooner! It provides the perfect growl at start up as well as when you step on it, but it is otherwise pretty quiet. I hated the sound of the axle dump near the cab, but this is nice and refined. Not too much, not too little (to my ears anyways). Looks good and fits the long bed just fine.
