Does anyone know of a company that sells clear plastic truck seat covers? I like the look of my seats but want to protect them too. I had an aunt that had them on her furniture so I know that this isnt a new idea.

I've never seen clear covers but it sounds like you're talking about clear vinyl (yes, I remember those at grandma's house). I can't imagine how uncomfortably hot and sticky they would be in the summer and how cold and stiff they would be in the winter.

IMHO much better to spend the money on EKR covers. Yes, a bit more money (assuming you could even find clear vinyl, which I doubt you can) and they do change the look, but very comfortable and they completely protect the original fabric while looking (and feeling) way more luxurious. I was skeptical but after having them for nine months now I wouldn't buy anything else. You can find many threads on them in the forum here and there are very few complaints outside of the install itself, and that's only because they fit very tight, which they really need to. Well worth the money if you're not looking to break the bank on real leather. If you're really cheap just get the fronts but doing all the seats is very much worth it if you carry anything in the back seats (or just want the truck to have a uniform look and feel).

I guess what I want is a cover that looks exactly like the stock seats. I want to protect them but not change the way they look. I guess I’ll have to settle for a close match. Thanks for EKR tip. I’m going to look into these.
