As a proud new owner of the only certified pre-owned SR 4x4 MT in the country, I'm curious what people think of the leaf spring rear on the SR? How does it compare to the coils? Are there hammer-hangers in development, or is that not relevant anymore? Is there any aftermarket support for this suspension to speak of? A quick search of this site and the wider internet turned up very little.

I've got an OR and find the new suspension outstanding. I have never driven a truck that handles washboard like this thing. I doubt it's just the rear coils.

Leaf spring suspensions are back beaters. I love the new coil spring adaptive suspension in my Limited.

I'm also a fairly recent SR Manual owner...have been wondering the same thing.

Drove a OR Manual as well, and while it was really nice - the SR checked the boxes I really needed. The manual is really freaking good...loving it so far!
