Hey everyone! Just got my 2024 Tacoma SR5 outfitted with SL265/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT4/Ws on 17x8.5 American Outlaw Spike wheels with 0 offset. I originally wanted to go with 285s for a beefier look and better off-road grip, but decided to play it smart since I’ve got a towing trip coming up from Kansas to Nevada. Wanted to keep clearance and drivability solid under load with no rubbing.

Funny thing is, I wasn’t even planning to buy new wheels yet. When the shop went to mount my new tires, they accidentally punctured one of my OEMs. Since I had mentioned I was considering wheels down the line, they made me an offer I couldn’t pass up: only pay for 3 wheels and they’d throw in free install. Total dropped from $980 to $580 including tax and that sealed the deal.

Truck looks way better now, rides solid, and I’m hyped to start exploring some trails once I get the rest of my gear dialed in. Appreciate any tips on towing setups or off-road upgrades, still learning the ropes!
