Where is the antenna for the remote unlock/key fob? (NOT the "smart key")

the range is garbage on these fobs/trucks. The touch lock/unlock is kinda wonky too. Mine often has a delay when I used the touch feature on the handle to lock. I'll touch it quick, turn to walk away, realize it didn't beep, then it'll beep. Super weird and pretty annoying. Back in the day with my VW Jetta (2003) I found the cable that was the antenna for the fob and spliced into it, ran wire under the trim from the driver side A pillar all the way to the rear of the roof, had like 50 yards of range on the fob, it was great

I also have this issue on my pro, my Subaru kinda did the same thing, I assume it’s just how I do it and walk away I don’t know
