Now that the weather is between that point where I can sometimes drive with the windows down, I've noticed that I'm getting a pronounced squeal/squeak from the front driver and passenger windows when rolling them up or down. I also noticed that with the windows partially down, they have a lot of forward/back (relative to the truck) play in them. I've been thinking about pulling a door panel and checking to make sure the tracks haven't come loose. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out a solution? I'm hoping it'll be something as simple as just lubing the tracks or something along those lines. I'll also see if I can get a video of the sound and upload it later today.

My driver front window does this occasionally... of course, it gets opened and closed the most. We had a particularly dusty springtime here, so I know the tracks have gotten quite a bit inside of them. It goes away for a while after a wash or rain, and even longer if I clean out the tracks with a microfiber cloth. I think it will likely just go away entirely as the seals age a little bit so they're not quite so tight and tacky against the glass.

A friend of mine also recommended some Shin-Etsu silicone grease for the tracks, which I bought just in case but have not yet used. Honda uses it for their various window and door seals. It's supposed to be really good stuff.
