I just purchased a set of Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport ditch lights for my TRD Off-road Hybrid. My truck has the factory switches. Has anyone installed these lights using the factory switches? Any tips?

It's easy. Follow the diagrams on the provided cards. You make 2 connections (power/ground).

Check the amp draw of your lights, but you should be able to wire them to Aux-2 (my BD Squadron Sports are wired to Aux-2). That leaves Aux-1 open for future use of higher amperage. If you want to utilize the backlight feature of the SS3's, you can wire that to Aux-3.

No relays or anything needed. Just hook up power and ground to the provided wires from Toyota. Super easy.
