I recently purchased the Wolfbox TriPro and was wondering if anybody installed the rear camera in center of the third light? I have a 24 TRD Sport and have seen plenty of videos for the bumper cam and rear license plate cam but none for the third light install. Any recommendations or tips would be appreciated.

That's what I am doing on my OffRoad...so far I have the Wolfbox mirror installed and purchased the premium third brake light off ebay...it came with cameras and wiring pigtail. I have yet to connect the OEM camera to the Wolfbox so I can't say of they are compatible yet. Wolfbox is no help. I also bought the grille with the camera mount and a new OEM camera...still waiting on the camera to be delivered. Still need to get the wiring sorted before I can get any farther...

Nice. I’m hoping I can figure out a way just to mount the Wolfbox camera as is. I’m sure I’m overthinking it but it’s my first taco and I don’t wanna mess anything up lol

I gotta ask, how much was the OEM camera and pigtail? I have the Wolfbox since I put on a rack and iKamper and it blocks the OEM camera. Would be sweet to be able to tie into the OEM camera to be able to switch between them.

Ebay vendor " Master Auto Lights" seems to offer many late model Tacoma parts...not cheap but sources outside a dealer are slim. I paid $400.

Removing the third brake light is an interesting proposition in itself....pull down the headliner to gain access the the fasteners that hold the rear spoiler, this gives access to the nuts that hold the brake light. Wiring pigtail has a molded grommet in it that hermetically seals the cable at the back of the cab. There's lots of room under the spoiler to run other wiring.

this is what I was looking for. How difficult was it to pull down the headliner?

Ahh okay. Not worth it to do what I was thinking if I already have the Wolfbox then. Could be a neat idea though.
