You should be able to make this almost 100% waterproof if you put the foam in the correct places. 350 pound load rating per description. You need to remove the rail end caps to slide the metal adapters into the rails. I best offered $380 and it was accepted.

Last thing you should do is take the end of your dipstick and sand it down a few passes. It is impossible to read from the factory given the low viscosity of the oil. This helped me tremendously when trying to fill that 5 and 9/10ths of a quart.

I never pull out the dipstick in any of my cars. Change the oil well before it’s due and add the proper amount no issues

I don't measure out 9/10th of a quart and I don't prefill my oil filter. I filled 5 quarts, then added until the dipstick showed an appropriate amount. I rechecked after a drive to make sure it is at an appropriate level when hot.

Good advice on the dipstick. I'm going to do the sanding.
