Switch Relocation on Center Console & Dash - How-To

I found it annoying that the switches I use are down by my left knee and the one I never use (trailer) are in the center console.

tacomabob.com came out with these awesome extension cables to relocate switches.




The switches are keyed so the $2.50/hr people that build these things always put them in the same spot so there is some filing to be done to move them around

I added some to my center a while back (baja back light, left rack lights and right rack lights) So far they’ve been working out great. I got two more spots to add something else down the road.

Where did you get those switches from? Are they backlit in blue or white?

That's what I was afraid of. Wish someone made some that matched the OEM color.

Yeah that annoyed me about the Cali Raised dial function light bar I have. I was going to use the AUX wiring to avoid any aftermarket battery connections but I wanted to save as many switch locations as I could.
