I just installed a set of oem limited headlights on my TRD Offroad Premium and everything was plug and play. All the functions work and the turn signal does a sequential fade out like it does on the limited.

I specifically wanted the Limited because it says Tacoma on the side instead of TRD Pro or Trailhunter. Makes more sense considering my truck.

The headlights only has 2 functional plugs with a dummy plug where the halogen turn signal is on the older lights. I just plugged the spare wire into the dummy plug to protect it.

Highly recommend if you can find a pair for cheap, Ive only had bad experiences with aftermarket headlights

It took about 2.5 hours. I had to take off the the fenders and whole front bumper. I dont think it was very difficult, it just takes some patience. I did need another person to take off the front bumper though.

Alpharex had a guide on how to remove the front bumper and headlights in their installation instructions of their headlights. I followed that

$1200 each?! Not gonna bother asking for part numbers now… I’ll scour marketplace instead of ordering new.

Looks good. Might consider doing this myself as well. Does the leveling feature still work after the swap?

Pardon my ignorance but what is the improvement over our TRD Off-road Premium? Is it just the sequential turn signal fade out? Don't get me wrong, I like that feature. I did not know the Limited did that. It also looks like another light is on the bottom. Am I right?

That's a steal for those lights. I'm surprised it's plug and play. These days every feature seems unique to a particular trim package and will not work if you install it into another trim.
