Was just out in Colorado a couple weeks ago, acclimating for a mountain bike race, as well as doing some camping and exploring, and wanted to share a few shots.

Rollins Pass is in my backyard. Great pics!

Are those awesome step/sliders available for long beds? My wife/dog would love those

Is the swing out accessory hitch something you offer with your rear bumper? What's the load capacity on it?

Really love that area. Stayed a few nights near Ned to camp and ride. We haven't designed long-bed sliders yet. Need to get our hands on one.

It's something we have been testing for a while, but it's not available yet. I've usually run a 60lb bike rack on it, plus 70 lbs of bikes at times, and haven't had issues. If I'm offroading, I run a lighter rack and one 25lb bike max, but it still has been flawless. What weights are you thinking of?

It’s beautiful there. I’ve never had the opportunity to go that far west but would love to. Also I agree about the Terra color. Was wondering about the devil’s slide trestles and if you drive across that or not? If I were to ever get out that way, I wouldn’t know what to do if I came across that situation. Seriously.

I have a 47lbs bike rack and 90lbs of bikes. I've been avoiding bringing bikes to off-roading trips. Your swing out solves the departure angle issue and is convenient - but is 137lbs total weight too much?

We have a wicked strong spindle, but that's quite a bit of leverage on the swing-out frame itself. From experience, I would say fine on-road, questionable bouncing? But the engineering team would know more on the final version. I'm assuming e-bikes?

Yes, two SL ebikes. AFAIK, the most common failure point for this kind of application is the u bolt on the latch mechanism from long drives on washboard roads. I've also seen people ratchet strap the accessory hitch to the roof / bedrack to mitigate oscillation.

I would consider more reinforcement on the fore / aft direction, maybe somehow have the swing arm sit on the bumper to distribute some load. Also make sure the latch mechanism is serviceable. Just my 2 cents - I'm sure your engineering team knows better than me.

All this is only a concern when carrying heavy load which may not be the case for most people and may not worth the development resource.

Wow!!! That terra taco looks amazing! Yet more proof that building for function always results in a bad ass looking rig. You just gave me some great ideas for my own taco.

Jo_Eats_Dirt, your rig is frick'n awesome too!
