Purchase paralysis! Skid plate feedback wanted.

Pretty sure the Land Cruiser skid isn't steel. The description for it says it is 1/4" powder coated aluminum.

Guess it wasn't terribly heavy when I installed. Are trailhunter skids steel ? I guess I could check the order for total weight

Yea Trailhunter skid is stamped steel. Same with the Transmission skid and I am pretty sure the differential skid as well.

20.9lbs with the box and some Landcruiser crossmember that comes with it. So yea probably aluminum.

I don't have one kicking around my dealer so I can't confirm exact material as I am just going off the accessory lookup description but I do have one on order so I can always put a magnet against it to see if its magnetic or not.

Hmm interesting I will have to see if I can get Toyota to update their information then. Seeing its steel that means I have lost a few sales due to incorrect part description on our accessories catalogue.
