I have these and keep my windows slightly open and the toyota app communicates that the windows are open. There's no way to avoid it, and I don't find it a nuisance.

Overall, I think it's worth it. Adds up to include the amp and sound deadening but overall the system is much more powerful and has greater clarity. I'm sure you can get more if you spend more, but for a fully plug-and-play kit, it's certainly an improvement.
