This is normal. Go ahead and put the truck into drive after pushing the button and roll a foot or two forward. It should lock once the pin engages. With the window down, you’ll be able to hear it click into place.
19.6 mpg, daily mixed use, CA driving speeds. About 82 mile commute. 3700 miles so far. All stock.
On my road trip to San Diego I managed 21.2mpg if I stayed around 70-75mph.

I'd assume the logo area is not much of an impact zone due to the location but it still makes me wary about how much material is missing there (not just on this skid but a lot of aftermarket ones)
I do like that it goes all the way up & mounts to the tow hook area.

This fixed my noise issue. I backed each Philips screw out about 1/8th to 1/4 turn while running the fan on high and the noise went away. I also checked on medium & low and the noise is gone. Thanks OP.
