I've had my Smartcap for 11,000 miles, and it's as dry as a bone. I didn't have a dealer install it–I did it myself. I'm convinced some dipshit did yours at the dealer and didn't know–or care–what he was doing.
Exactly.
For my Cali ditch lights (which came with the wiring harness and relay) I bought their switch and installed it in one of the blank spots so I would have a blue light on when the ditch lights were on.
I’ve got 11,000 miles and have changed oil twice. I’ve cleared the maintenance log on the instrument cluster after each and have done it a couple more times.
However, I keep getting this message:
“Oil maintenance required, visit your dealer.” Plus the miles over 10,000.
How do I clear it?
I've got the Trailhunter and can say it's built like a beast. I was going to cut a hole to access my Fumoto valve, but the steel is hardened. The plate is embossed, so it'll be hard to damage.
It's not hard to take off with a creeper (and ramps) since it has two slotted holes. You can lower it...
