In short, yes. Itās normal. set your front rear balance 75% to the rear and your volume to 50 and it sounds fine. Itās just badly set from the factory.
Sorry youāre not happy with your taco. I donāt share any of your concerns and I am very happy with mine. Perhaps you should try the competition and see if you find something you like better.
Both my tacos are affected. Of course, no dealers have parts, but not worried. Itās easy enough to make sure mud & dirt arenāt caked up in the rear wheels. If they are, use your hose and remove it. Easy peasy.
I read somewhere that toyota may also spread the cost of the tariffs across the range of vehicles they sell, softening the blow to the Tacoma. Looks like a viable option.
@kbradley I mostly agree with you with the exception of what goes up doesnāt come down. In normal functioning markets, that happens all the time. Consider that 24 tacos came out with price increases ranging 8 - 10k more than 23 Tacos on the higher trim & options. Yet, the market didnāt buy many...
