Thanks for the update. Maybe just needs to fully break in and seat. I’ll probably swing by the dealer this week and see if they have another one on the lot to try out.
Took me a while to come back and post. I will definitely get it checked out; it lessens once everything’s warmed up after about 15-20 minutes of driving. You 100% notice the ICE engine engaging, exhaust kicking on but it’s not a smooth transition at all.
Agreed; same here. Predominantly from a stop and go standpoint. As I mentioned, it seems as though it’s a shutter or clunk or thud as the engine engages the drivetrain it takes over from the hybrid system.
Just picked up a 25 with the hybrid. There appears to be a clunk/thud when the engine kicks on and engages the drivetrain at a stop light. This is even after the engine is warm. It’s audible and you can feel it in the rear end.
Is this just “normal” for a hybrid set up? Haven’t experienced...
So I just picked up a 25 with the I-force max. I’ve noticed when accelerating from a stop, there’s a thud/clunk when the engine appears to kick on/engage. Almost like the engine is engaging the drivetrain.
