I wired my Heretic into the 15A pigtail using the connector by the wiper reservoir (using the original wire gauge for the pigtail) then butt connected it to either 14 or 12 gauge (whichever the correct size is).

Legit one of the things I looked at before buying. I would not buy a vehicle with it.

For one, what warranty are we talking about? Two the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act states that the dealer must prove that the modification caused whatever issue to void the warranty. So again, lazy dealer that doesn't want to do any work or be liable.
