OR owner - have this >70mph + crosswinds. My CX-5 does the exact same thing. Not worried about it. Annoying yes, but nothing I'm going to go sit at a dealer for to have them tell me it's normal or nothing they can do.
I wired my Heretic into the 15A pigtail using the connector by the wiper reservoir (using the original wire gauge for the pigtail) then butt connected it to either 14 or 12 gauge (whichever the correct size is).
The majority of people are lazy, uneducated, and honestly don't care. They don't want to do the research in order to save the money or have to travel outside their little bubble.
Mileage seems accurate for that mpg reading. Computer overall is not the best accuracy measurement however as there is ~2.7 gallons of fuel left when it tells you you're low.

Two the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act states that the dealer must prove that the modification caused whatever issue to void the warranty.
So again, lazy dealer that doesn't want to do any work or be liable.
