Toyota doesn't "recommend" you change your oil until 10k. Toyota also doesn't "recommend" that you keep a vehicle as long as possible, so take their recommendations with a grain of salt. I just did my 4th oil change at 15k.

Looks to me like some type of cleaner has stained it/took the color out of it. I've seen where you can apply heat to it and it usually will make it look new.

Depends on whether or not you have the sensors in the bumper or not. If you do, you can turn the setting on/off through the settings menu on the tach.
