Bro's driving 11.8 miles in 31 minutes. Of course it's going to report high gas mileage.
If I only drove five miles in an hour, I bet I could beat that too...
Seeing as how the Tacoma is the LAST/ONLY newly made vehicle with a M/T, it's probably gonna be hard to get...
Also, Toyota doesn't do "custom" orders like other dealers do.
Despite all the bad information out there, it is pretty cut and dry because there is federal law on the matter. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) regulates warranties and protects the consumer. This legislation was enacted in 1975 in response to widespread deceptive...
I think the custom fiberglass is the way to go.
Eventually I have a Sundown Audio SA8 V2 that I'd like to fit somewhere, provided I have the room under the seat.
Personal decision for the most part.
I would imagine that it also depends on how "gentle" your installer is removing the windshield too. Granted that I had only had the truck for 2 months at that point, I would rather take it to the dealer and have them at least tell me they did something just...
I had my windshield replaced at a local 3rd party installer. They (at the time - early July 2024) were unable to calibrate the ADAS system, so I had to take it to the dealership to have it calibrated. Whether they did anything or not, I don't actually know. I've had no issues after over a year...
Congratulations! You found out that the MAF sensor doesn't like these aftermarket parts that don't take into account the parameters that the ECU is programmed to.
When your average speed is about 25mph, it's pretty easy to get those numbers. So not really a realistic number for your average driver that has multiple speed zones they're going through where the average is going to be >25mph.
Protection.
The top hats (at least on the early 24 models) are weak and have seen a few cases where they are broken and the shock pushes through. These are steel reinforcement plates that sit on top the top hat.
I honestly don't think there are any updates. Latest I've seen is that they're just replacing all these different parts hoping for a different outcome but it still persists. Seems like it's an engineering issue, or the famous Toyota tech line of being "normal".
I can't say for certain on the TH since it's a hybrid and I have the OR. But, on the autos, the "manual" mode acts as a gear limiter. So say you switch it over to the manual mode where it says S3 by default. This means that the truck will limit itself to a maximum of 3rd gear. Shift up to 5 and...
I have an OR, so no experience with the TH. Reading over this though, just gave me an insight. Toyota's acoustic glass is a laminate glass, not tempered. Which means that it won't shatter like a normal side window. It's more of a windshield type glass.
So it seems like it may prove to be a...
