I'm 99% sure this doesn't void the warranty, but maybe @JustDSM can chime in? I was honestly more worried that Toyota would overwrite my tune if i took it in to be serviced. "Most techs know better, but if there's an issue they're trying to chase down, this may be their first course of action"...
they're not terrible if all you want is a step. The only reason I removed mine was because I knew I wanted actual sliders that mount to the frame (not the body paneling).
I agree that shorter is better. Built for Triumph > Built for Every Triumph... but then it feels like you're slanging motorcycle parts...
Similarly "Focus Back on Life" could be shortened to just "Focus on Life". That sounds decent..?
I have no idea what a "Trumgeta" is, but you have some...
Makes sense. I figured that rail was what most racks would mount to, short of drilling or something.
In the above photo of the Kuat system, isn't that still just relying on the same rail, though? I get that it's "pulling down" but it's just "pulling down to that rail".. right? Not trying to...
Yeah not sure I'm explaining it properly. I mean I can push against the side of my truck and make it rock, doesn't mean every bolt on the truck is loose. The bed is obviously separate from the cab, and I think the play between those two parts is what I'm seeing, plus the fact the camera...
get the tune. best money spent.

in fact, DON'T get it, and just drive your truck for a few weeks... THEN get it, so you can actually tell the difference.
DM sent, but not terribly useful. Another idea would be to just go to a toyota dealer and poke around in the lot. If a salesman asks, just say you need some info before making a purchase.
Ah, you think that's literally the top of the clamshell bopping around in the wind? Hmmm, that didn't even occur to me, but when I close the clamshell if feels very tight/snug.
Just went out to the driveway to take these photos of the mounting, and that's not it. The clamshell is secure, I can...
I'll try and remember this thread after dropping my son at school tomorrow, will take pics of the actual tape measure laid out as needed. Hopefully helps? Not sure why you can't just measure your own, unless making for a friend? No, you say " my 4th Tacoma with a 5ft bed ", how would anyone...
Hey all,
TL;DR: wondering if this is normal for an RTT up on a rack in the back, as viewed from the rear bed cam:
More detail:
I just got a great deal on a like new iKamper 3.0 Mini ($2k!) and was very excited to get it attached to my (yes, cheap) bed rack. It went up fine, and I've laid in...
Yeah for a Ferrari I could see someone saying they got it up to 217(!) MPH and every digit mattering. For my truck, I'm going slow or medium.
Reminds me of a plugin I saw for my computer once where you could chage the date/time to be fuzzy and say things like "almost 11", or "morning"...
