    I’m liking the the bulge-free Canadians. Holding up very well on gnarly terrain. Also, they prevent a lot more debris on the truck sides than then the super thin ones

    Dumb question yall. If I go over a large rock that catches these flaps, since they aren’t flexible, what’s most likely to happen? Screws pulls from the grommet? Grommet comes out? Or sheetmetal damage? I’ve replaced a couple of the grommets. They don’t come out easy.

    Old flaps off, old and new Canadian bulges compared, new Canadians on. One thing about the new Canadians that’s cool aside form the bulge being gone — they’ve got a strip of plastic that tucks up and behind the fender for added stability. They look good. Hopefully they survive off-road.

    I think my old TRD PRO had a little oil change door. What I don’t like is the dealership over torquing my bolts. I’m about to start changing my own oil - it’s just easier to make warranty claims when the dealer does it.
