  9. Sneak Peek: A-Pillar Grab Handles for 4th Gen Tacoma (by Carlimeki) – What Do You Want to See?

I am sorry, I am not happy with the OEM style grab bar on the passenger's side and will be waiting for your full grip version. Also, I am hoping the part shown in the video is not an actual retail piece as it does not match the OEM part you removed in texture and color. Seemed a bit too shiny...
  10. TRD Pro, Dont kick me I want to lower it…

My thought, exactly. Every time I take my truck in for service, they inflate my tires to 38 to 40psi. On the way home, it rides rough and the rear end tends to dance a little on curves with poor pavement. For me, 32psi is much better, as the ride is much more enjoyable. Just a thought...
  11. Sneak Peek: A-Pillar Grab Handles for 4th Gen Tacoma (by Carlimeki) – What Do You Want to See?

I agree with the above. I would like something I can wrap my hand around to pull myself in. It needs to be solid, without any give and or noise when using. If you make one which stands out a little more from the A-pillar and is a bit beefier than the one on the passenger's side, I would...
  12. Cracked Windshield Advice Wanted

Safelite took most of a day to install my windshield, as I waited. They came to me a few times to confirm I hadn't raised the truck or added any after market stuff to make it higher. Told them it was stock. They couldn't figure out why it wasn't specking out. Finally, once it was done, they...
  13. Toyota Dealership offering Rodent Screen

Rabbits are a problem here in the rural areas of the Sacramento Valley. I have heard of a mesh screen being used over the cabin air vent in the engine bay for smaller rodents, but that wouldn't help, with respect to the engine wiring. How could they effectively screen the underneath of the...
  14. Clunk when making first stop of the day

That's interesting, while I have not experienced it on my Tacoma, it sounds like something similar happening on my 2011 FJ 4x4. At times, it felt like someone had actually bumped into my rear bumper along with an audible, clunk. Never really had any issues with it, other than being annoying...
  15. Toyota should offer something like the off roadeo

I think it would be a great idea too! It would also provide an opportunity to meet other owners in your area. But would Toyota do it?
  16. Help Installing Rough Country LED Light Kit using prewired Aux switches

Hey Texas Bob, Check out the video below, the install is exactly as shown and was super easy, no drilling required. Mike at M&R is pretty good with questions, I would contact him through his site and ask if there is a way you could tap into the high beams to activate the light bars. Mine are...
  17. Fuse Panels (Photos) in 4th Gen Tacoma Limited Hybrid

They do, indeed, I am considering getting it. I have the original one which doesn't allow for parking mode. I think the site lists the devices which will work with new system.
  18. Any Photographers in the Sacramento area?

I am in Woodland, so about a hour and a half from Lathrop. "Newer to photography" isn't an issue for me. I'll send you a private message to discuss a meet up.
  19. Help Installing Rough Country LED Light Kit using prewired Aux switches

Dave, I wired my lights directly to the supplied aux harness and am using the factory switches. I have ditch lights and a grill light bar, both with DRLs. By doing so, I didn't have to snake any wires into the cabin from the engine bay. I don't know how to wire the switch you have in your...
  20. Fuse Panels (Photos) in 4th Gen Tacoma Limited Hybrid

While this does not give the location of the fuse for the wireless charger, it is sort of a cool little site for fuse locations on our 4thG Tacomas and other vehicles: StartmyCar Fuse Location Found this over on the TacomaWorld forum, thanks to "Old Man C".
