    That looks good. My strategy will be to let the fenders go to hell (already very pin striped and rock chipped) and replace them entirely when they get really bad.

    It for sure sounds skid plate related to me. I’ve also got a cat guard under there. It could be a stabilizer arm moving and hitting it. I’ll crawl under there and see if it appears to be a big deal.

    Hey guys - I get a clicking sound when steering sometimes - it’s def not all the time but when it happens it’s somewhat concerning. I can also feel it in the steering wheel. There should not be any rubbing whatsoever. Here is a video. Any idea what this is?

    It’s a California thing. Don’t know much about it. In Texas I can put my 9 under my steering column with some Velcro and call it a day.

    Agree that 33” is ideal for gearing. 34-35 also would work fine. Toyota did a great job on this power train.

    285/70/18 will be 33.7” to 34” depending on the brand, and 285/75/18 will be 34.8” to 35” depending on the brand. Same width. Westcott knows what they are doing they will take care of you

    @Airborne - I haven’t seen a better video for explaining tire fitment considerations - diameter, offset, castor, and tire width. I’d watch it. One day I will try to make content this good.

    Offset is +20. Yes the mud flaps will need to come off and maybe the crash pads. You want 285/70 ? Or 285/75?

    No problem. I’m a former computer programmer and the first time it happened I almost stabbed the screen with my truck knife. Then my wife added her phone so she could play an awful podcast about gut health on a road trip and it massively confused my car play. Took me forever to figure it out...

    Video on Falken vs KO3 size. With certain offsets I think the Falken could rub as it’s so wide — and I learned they def rub with the Canadian mud flaps. Width also causes rubbing.

    Hey guys - so how much does the rear axle housing tell us about the actual size of the axles inside? If the Tacoma has a 3.2” axle housing and the Raptor has a 3” axle housing does this necessarily mean the rear axle inside the Tacoma is thicker? It would track given the larger diameter ring...
