They offer them on C and up only. Not SL. The duraspec is tough as balls and not necessary unless you’re doing some super gnarly shit. My only issues with the OEM size is they look small on such a beefy truck and don’t get the me ground clearance I want.
Falkens are great. Just not a fan of any E load tires. They aren’t really heavy for how fucking big they run. They are just simply wider than other tires on the market in the same size. Also the “Duraspec” is 3 ply so in some cases it’s thicker rubber.
Take the 275/70/18 in E load. KO3 in...
Yeah. Happy to pay for the monoforged RRW if they will just give me information. Seems like they are actively discouraging people from buying their stuff. It’s super weird.
I’m thinking about this exact setup bc of the C load. These are 33.9” tall and seem perfect. Did you need to remove the crash pad? Not sure I could fit them on. My 33.43” is pretty damn close to rubbing.
Also are those the +35 offset methods? How’s the “poke” looking ?
Looking sharp.
I think I want a C load because the ride quality is superior. I like that your tire is the Duraspec 3 ply sidewall as well. Your tire is also a true 33 as opposed to 32.8. Good choice when combined with a lighter wheel
The SL or Load C duraspec? Could you do a side profile view for a wide angle so we can see how tall they sit? They look great.
Yours are for sure taller than the OEM because under compression tires come down about 0.75 to 1 inch.
I want to grab some lighter wheels and have been pursuing RRW, but they simply don’t list the weights of their wheels and talking to them over email / instagram is like pulling teeth. At one point they blamed me for not being able to find the weights listed on their site and the weights just...
So there is one magical size in the Falken AT4W. It’s the 35x11.5 — for such a colossal tire it’s only 62.6 pounds because it’s just a C load AND it’s not “HD” rated. My guess is it’s a super comfortable tire that would look positively sick on my truck. To make it work I would need to get an...
A bunch of people like the KO3 as mentioned above - maybe softer rubber compound as the AT4 HDs are targeted at super duty trucks? I know other TH owners who also like the KO3. Not sure what’s going on. I could try those. But it’s a huge gamble for me at this point. Honestly my truck...
Yeah so I got 275/70/18 Falken AT4Ws in E load. They weigh 60.3 pounds. They also “run big” in that they are without any question wider than any other 275/70/18 I’ve ever seen and I’ve looked at a LOT of them in person. They also sit 33.43” tall which is taller than 90% of tires in this size...
Wow. Got a poke shot? +12 seems super aggressive. The stock TH wheels have +25 and I am on 275s and it has decent poke already. That said the Falken LTs run probably half an inch wider than most tires in that same spec. Your setup looks great— from the first picture the poke looks perfect...
I want to copy this exact setup. Love it. Please tell me all the details of the wheel / tire combo just so I can confirm it ??
Currently running 93 pounds per corner with my AT4s and I’m not super happy about the results
